The Cadets
Marion's Premier Competitive Corps
The Cadets represent the pinnacle of Marion Drum and Bugle Corps competition. Competing at the Open Class level — the highest tier in drum corps — the Cadets demand excellence in every rep, every rehearsal, and every performance. If you're ready to compete at the top, this is your corps.
A Legacy of Excellence
Founded alongside the Marion Drum and Bugle Corps organization in 1947, the Cadets have been the flagship competitive unit of Marion for over seven decades. Through changing eras of drum corps competition, the Cadets have consistently represented Marion on the Open Class circuit with distinction.
The Cadets have produced some of Marion's most celebrated alumni — performers who have gone on to march with world-class corps, lead music programs, and carry the Marion tradition forward. Every season builds on that legacy.
